Don’t stop me now, if you wanna have a good time

Just give me a call

  1. Even tho’ Earls Court might not have been the poshest place to live in the Royal Borough, it most definitely was the coolest. We had a music venue that hosted Madonna, Prince, Pink Floyd and my all-time fave, David Bowie! And Freddie Mercury and the Bee Gees lived there! Utter Leggas!

  2. Went to the V&A this week and saw the Burberry exhib. Most kulchad, me! Did you know the trench coat gets its name ‘cos it was worn by officers in the trenches as the gabardine helped keep the rain out…might have to add one to my perpetual wishlist now.

  3. Had a fab five-hour boozy lunch yesterday with two extraordinary women in my life...I just read somewhere that women’s greatest loves are actually their girlfriends. On yesterday’s evidence, I’m buying it.

  4. Spent years setting goals for work...bollocking KPIs...buggering SMART goals. Now, my goals are for me: write a novel, get back on a horse, do a pull-up and sing in public. Finally, some objectives I can get behind.

  5. Writing a book was one of my life goals…tick! Stay tuned…

  6. So…overcoming my fear of horses is another...I fell off one at 11 in Hyde Park and it accidentally kicked me. The horse may have forgotten, but sadly I haven’t.

  7. Oooh...but then I can add “rides horses” to my list of talents...look at me...confident...windswept...amazing boots. Perhaps I’ll start with the boots.

  8. Get into a regular exercise routine...apparently, I’m now the sort of woman who bangs on about the benefits of Pilates. Rather surprisingly, I bloody love it...and I keep showing up! How boring and predictable I have become. Crikey! Pull up here we come!

  9. Take singing lessons...although it could go either way. Perhaps there’s a fabulous voice in there waiting to be discovered. Perhaps my family will finally have professional evidence that there isn’t. Either way, I’d like to brave real karaoke rather than living-room karaoke shit-faced with my girlfriends.

  10. Wait...hold the phone...Jesus’s mother was Jewish. Surely we get joint custody?
